Name: Agent Texas | Intelligent Unit Beta | Allison

History: Note that the RvB wiki has a lot of mod biases baked into the entries as canon, but here
Personality:
✽ What is your character's main motivation? What drives them and keeps them going?
Tex is driven by duty and loyalty. This has a tendency not to look the way others expect, however. For example, during her time in Blood Gulch, she was doing her best to protect the sim soldiers, who she knew had no idea what they were even doing there, or what they were fighting for (it was nothing). But as soon as she learned Wyoming's plan was to use the alien baby to defeat the alien enemies by infecting their culture from the inside, she immediately dropped that plan and joined his side. It didn't matter to her that the sim soldiers thought this plan was reprehensible—she knew billions of people had died on humanity's side of the Great War and wanted it to end.
✽ What is their biggest regret? Why?
Her biggest regret is not being able to rescue the Church, the Alpha AI, from the Director's torture. She had mutinied and led an insurrection—as much as leading a team of three can be considered an insurrection, at least—and had arrived just moments too late for her rescue attempt not to be futile. Church was completely broken by the time she got to him and she was forced to let him go, not just physically but emotionally, at that point.
✽ What is their worst fear? Their greatest comfort?
Tex's greatest fear is losing. But this isn't about winning and losing in a fight—she knows she's far more than capable at that. Her fear has to do with having her goals yanked out of reach, her every attempt at protecting those important to her be futile. This is something Epsilon stated to Washington, that her very nature is that she will fail, but that's too simplistic. That's Epsilon's view of her. She's not fated to fail. But she certainly fears it.
Her greatest comfort is the hope that humanity will carry on, even if she fails in her quest to bring the Great War to an end by her own hand, there has to be some recipe for success that will allow them to see a future.
✽ Top three strengths?
Each of Tex's weaknesses is tied to one of her strengths:
This is not canon but I read a fabulous fic where Tex and Church were reunited in the Meta's head and she told him everything would be okay. She also refused to say goodbye. (Tex hates goodbyes, and both of the times we saw her say goodbye in canon it truly was an occasion where she thought she'd never see him again.)
Inventory: I'm going to play that Tex is humanized upon arrival and has no projectile weapons. She will be wearing a battle dress uniform of the UNSC and have a kukri knife on her belt.
Abilities: Texas is an adept fighter at hand-to-hand and excellent marksman. Being an AI in a body, she can out-calculate her opponents’ moves in a fight and react before they can. She's also very powerful in canon, but would not be quite this powerful in a human body; let's say she can bench 250lbs. (I don't know how srtonk is super stronk but sounds good to me??)
Tex is skilled at vehicle repair and weapons maintenance, stating at one point that she always liked cars. She’s also very athletic by human standards, able to leap and flip with ease.
